Small-ticket equipment deal flow, sized to your program
If your sweet spot is the $10,000 to $150,000 equipment deal, say so once. EFN checks every file against your deal-size range and sends the ones that fit to you alone, so the small tickets you see are the ones you asked for.
Who this is for
Equipment finance companies, banks and credit unions whose business is the small ticket: a truck, a trailer, a skid steer, a piece of shop or medical equipment, often on an application alone. Your profile is how only the small tickets that fit your program reach you.
EFN works exclusively with direct lenders: banks, credit unions, specialty finance companies, and equipment finance groups that fund deals from their own balance sheet or credit facility. We do not work with brokers, loan packagers, or intermediaries.
What you'll get
- Deals inside your hard minimum and maximum, with your preferred sweet spot counting toward which lender a deal goes to first.
- Trucks and trailers, construction, agriculture, medical, restaurant, manufacturing and technology equipment, in the categories you choose.
- Owner-operators, contractors and other small businesses buying one specific piece of equipment, from a dealer or, if you take them, a private seller or an auction.
- Your paperwork limits by deal size count in the match too.
What the file shows
Before you claim a deal you see a summary of the file, with no identity: the equipment, make and model, year and condition, mileage or hours, the seller type; the purchase price (rounded), down payment and desired term; the business's state and industry; time in business, the self-reported credit range and revenue range; and the fit score against your profile. The borrower's name and contact unlock when you claim it.
On a small ticket the time spent on a file that never fit is most of the cost. The summary lets you rule a deal in or out before you spend a call on it.
How it works for a lender
- You set your rules once, in a lender profile that takes five minutes or less, and update it whenever your appetite changes. Nothing is routed to you until you have reviewed and signed the referral agreement. Your deal-size minimum, maximum and sweet spot are part of it.
- Matched deals arrive one at a time. Every match is human-reviewed against your credit box before it reaches you.
- Each deal goes to one lender at a time, with no competing calls from other lenders. You have 24 hours to claim it; once you claim it, it is yours until you pass. Unclaimed after 24 hours, it moves to the next best fit.
- When you claim a deal, the borrower is told which lender has the file and that you will be in touch, so your first call is expected.
- You underwrite, price and close each deal on your own paper, with your own documents and your own process. EFN does not package the file, quote a rate or take part in the credit decision.
What it costs
Joining is free. The referral fee is 1% of the funded amount, and a referral fee applies only on deals that actually fund. Pay nothing for leads you pass on.
On a small ticket the fee is small too. If a referred deal funds with $40,000 of principal, the referral fee is $400, invoiced after funding. If it is declined, withdrawn or never funds, the fee is nothing.
One flat referral fee for every lender in the network. No lender can pay to be routed ahead of another. EFN asks for no exclusivity from you. Each deal is yours alone once you claim it, and you keep every dealer, vendor and referral source you already have.
Common questions
What counts as small ticket?
Whatever your profile says. You set a hard minimum, a maximum and a preferred sweet spot, and a deal outside your minimum and maximum is never sent to you.
Can I receive small-ticket deals on an application only?
Yes. The profile asks the largest deal you will do on an application alone and the largest with bank statements, and each deal's amount is read against those limits.
Is each deal exclusive to me?
You have 24 hours to claim it, and once you claim it, it is yours until you pass. Each deal goes to one lender at a time, and it moves to the next match only if you pass or leave it unclaimed for 24 hours. EFN asks for no other exclusivity.
Is there a minimum number of deals I have to take?
No. There is no quota and no commitment. Pass on anything you do not want, at no cost.
How is the fee billed on small deals?
The same way as on any deal: 1% of the funded amount, only on deals that actually fund, on a written invoice after funding. Nothing is charged up front.
