How we review and match

A person reviews every file. No lender can pay to rank higher.

Equipment Funding Network is not a lender. We match your deal with a lender that does deals like yours. Here is exactly how that works, who looks at your file, and what decides where it goes.

From your application to the right lender

  1. You fill out one short application. The equipment, the business, a credit range and your state. It takes about five minutes and does not commit you to anything.
  2. We run a soft credit pull. EFN runs a soft credit pull only, which does not affect your credit score.
  3. We compare your deal with each lender's own rules. Each lender tells us what it will and will not finance: states, equipment, deal size, credit, time in business, paperwork, and limits on age or mileage. Our software checks your deal against every one of them and suggests the lenders that fit.
  4. A person reviews your file. Software suggests. It never sends. A person reads your file, checks the suggestion against it, and decides. Nothing goes to any lender until that person sends it.
  5. Your deal goes to one lender. One lender at a time, never a list. That lender first sees the deal without your name, and has 24 hours to claim it. Your name and contact details unlock only when it says it is interested, and we tell you who it is.
  6. You work directly with that lender. The lender reviews your deal, decides, and sets the rate and terms. If it passes, we try the next best fit only with your OK, or you can stop. Your call.

What decides who sees your deal first

Among the lenders that fit, we put them in order on these things:

What never decides it

Money does not move a lender up the list.

Who reviews your file

40 years of deal-making, 20 in equipment finance. That is the experience behind every review. It is what tells us why a lender would pass on a file, and which lender is built for it.

What we will not do

Questions about the review

Does a person really review every file?
Yes. Our software suggests the lenders that fit, but it cannot send anything. A person at EFN reviews every file and is the only one who can send it to a lender.

Can a lender pay EFN to get my deal first?
No. No lender can pay to be ranked ahead of another, and EFN sells no placements or sponsored spots. A lender gets your deal because it fits your deal.

Who sees my name and contact details?
Only the lender your deal goes to, and only once it says it is interested. Until then it sees the deal without your name. Your information is never sold, and it is never sent to a list of lenders.

Does the review affect my credit score?
No. EFN runs a soft credit pull only, which does not affect your credit score.

What happens if the lender says no?
We try the next best fit only with your OK, or you can stop. Your deal does not go to another lender without you knowing.

How much experience does the team have?
Our team brings 40 years of deal-making, 20 in equipment finance. A person with that experience behind them reviews every file.

Put your deal in front of the lender built for it.

One short application, soft pull only, and free for you. A person reviews it from there.

Equipment Funding Network is a match and routing service, not a lender. It does not make credit decisions or set rates or terms, and it does not guarantee approval. The lender does all of that.
